Political fanaticism has been alive and well in the church for decades, but over these last 8 years it’s been at a fever pitch. In many ways, and for many people, it’s been elevated to point of idolatry, giving way to a false Messiah, one that rides a red elephant and sits on the throne of the White House. Trump “the man” isn’t the issue, it’s the spirit of a false political gospel that’s been swept in with this polarizing personality. NOW WAIT. Lest you think we are dogpiling on Trump, we aren’t, just the spirit of Trump, most of us align on the conservative side of things. We just want to see the Gospel be priority again. Jesus back on the throne of our minds and the king of hearts.
