This year Diwali falls on Saturday 14th November. Ahead of the celebrations, Emily chats to students from the Hindu, India, Punjabi and Tamil societies about what Diwali means to them, traditions and advice for people who cannot celebrate at home with their families due to lockdown. Later in the episode, former SUSU Sabbatical Officer, Arun, shares some recipes for traditional food.
