Do-It-Yourself (DIY) projects are hot these days. You go on YouTube and find step-by-step instructions for everything from home repair to auto maintenance. There is a certain satisfaction when you finish a job yourself. But when it comes to matters of the soul, DIY is not recommended. In fact, God had some pretty strong words for a church that tried it.
