這是關於這個 Set 的故事。

幾天前，父親確認癌末。

原本計畫在我生日前、他開刀後的隔天，

拍一場 DJ 現場演出給他看。

結果，計畫生變。

於是提前了一週，

把我在 COSMA 週年慶的演出，送給爸爸。

這天的演出，

其實是我近幾場以來，自己最滿意的一次。

週六，我把錄影檔給他看。

雖然那時的他已經有些迷迷糊糊，

但第一次看到自己的孩子演出時，

他笑得很開心、很滿足，眼眶也紅了。

我問他：

「如何？怎樣？

你兒子在這個圈子闖蕩這麼久了，

現在可以不用擔心我了。

累了，就好好休息，好嗎？」

爸爸點點頭

然後又昏睡了過去。

Janet Jackson 的〈Together Again〉，

是 Janet 寫給過世朋友的一首歌。

它像是在告訴自己，也告訴離開的人：

即使思念、即使難過，

還是要帶著微笑，

因為有一天，我們會再相見。

如同現在，也如同過去，

要堅強，也要勇敢。

寫給我的父親、

天上的母親，

以及未來的自己。

因為我相信，

未來的某一天，

我們會再開心地團聚。

This is the story behind this set.

A few days ago, my father was confirmed to be in the final stage of cancer.

Originally, I had planned to film a live DJ set for him to watch the day after his surgery, just before my birthday.

But things did not go as planned.

So I moved it up by a week and dedicated my performance at COSMA’s anniversary to my dad.

This set was actually one of the performances I have felt most satisfied with in quite some time.

On Saturday, I showed him the recording.

Although he was already drifting in and out of awareness, it was the first time he had ever seen his son perform.

He smiled so happily, looking deeply content, and his eyes began to well up.

I asked him,

“How was it?

Your son has been making his way in this scene for so many years.

You don’t have to worry about me anymore.

If you’re tired, just rest well, okay?”

Dad nodded.

Then he slowly drifted back to sleep.

Janet Jackson’s “Together Again” was written for a friend of hers who had passed away.

To me, the song feels like a message both to yourself and to the people you have lost:

Even through the sadness and the longing, keep smiling,

because one day, we will meet again.

Just as in the past, and just as now,

we have to stay strong and be brave.

This is for my father,

for my mother in heaven,

and for the future me.

Because I believe that one day,

somewhere in the future,

we will all be together again,

happy and smiling.

It's been a while, my DJ Set.

Reborn in Spring.

Tribute to My Former Self.

本來是一首互相微笑一起揮手瀟灑的離去的歌曲，

聽了弦樂版的演奏曲後，總覺得要是談了一段挫敗的感情，

大哭一場也很可以。

曲中間雖是首官方的演奏曲，但依然嘗試了許多情感的融入方式，

終於完成了。

於是第一個讓我心碎的Mashup就此誕生

有獨白 有共伴悲傷

Originally, it was a song about exchanging smiles, waving goodbye, and walking away with grace.

But after hearing the string instrumental version, I couldn’t help thinking that if this were the end of a failed relationship, it would be perfectly okay to break down and cry.

Although the middle section features an official instrumental track, I still experimented with different ways of weaving emotion into it—and finally, it was complete.

And so, my first truly heartbreaking mashup was born.

There is a monologue, and sorrow shared in companionship.

The original arrangement depicted a carefree departure. After transforming it into a string version, it felt equally fitting for a good cry. This heartbreaking version emerged from that realization. However, this one is only 30 seconds. The complete track is exclusively used as the closing number at my current DJ venue. Genuinely heartbreaking.

Shin 將原本帶有闇黑風格的曲風轉化，重新混音 Jolin 蔡依林的〈Pleasure〉，賦予歌曲一種帶有邪惡又小巧慾望的氛圍，同時展現另一種可愛且主動給予慾望的感覺。

Shin transformed the original dark-toned style by remixing Jolin Tsai's "Pleasure," giving the song an atmosphere that blends a hint of evil with subtle desires, while also expressing a different kind of cuteness—one that actively embodies the role of a giver of desire.

她是第36屆金曲獎最佳華語女歌手獎：娃娃魏如萱。從「自然卷」開始就讓我深深喜愛的她，當年也訪問過她好幾次，看到她得到第二次的金曲獎最佳華語女歌手獎讓人頗感動。

第一次聽到魏如萱的〈惡口〉時，那種瞬間的共鳴感讓我印象深刻。

這首歌的詞及編曲堆疊層次豐富，每個拍與歌聲都詭異的恰到好處。

那一刻我就知道，這首有中！值得重新詮釋的作品。希望你喜歡。

She is the 36th Golden Melody Award Best Female Mandarin Singer: Waa Wei. I've deeply admired her since her Natural Q days, and interviewed her multiple times back then. Seeing her win her second Golden Melody Award for Best Female Mandarin Singer is genuinely moving.

When I first heard Waa Wei's "Rose Is Not A Rose Is Not A Rose Is Not A Rose," that instant resonance left a lasting impression. The song's lyrics and arrangement create rich, layered textures, every beat and vocal line falls into place with uncanny precision.

In that moment, I knew this was a hit, a work worthy of reinterpretation.
