WutUpDoe? Back in the day when I dj'd at a club in a strip mall on the Eastside named The Lobby, on Saturday afternoons, we'd have jazz by an artist named Bobby Floyd and his Trio. My responsibility once I arrived around 6 pm was to keep the audience from leaving until around 9:30 pm or so until the regular crowd would come through to party with us, thus this lil mix. Shout out to my folk in Flint, Detroit, and Grand Rapids, Michigan who loved to hand dance to music like this!I like taking chances, so I always wanted to mix Mac Miller with T.S. Monk to hear in my ride, but I hope you all enjoy what you hear.  Made a slight mistake in my transition in the middle of this mix while answering the phone, but I make up for it. Trust me. If you know of a venue you'd like to hear me play live in Bi-Weekly or whatever, feel free to share and I hope this sounds good on all your favorite devices. I love Twitter and sometimes out of the blue, someone asks for a mix, so why not. I love musical challenges. Just trying to prove to myself that I could be an opener which is what I would prefer in this genre, so I can dance the rest of the day/night away. This is also my perfect example of mixing in key before there were even programs designed for DJs. I don't know how I do it, it just happens from time to time. This mix ain't for everybody, but I can't wait to drive my car to this soundtrack late at night.
