Djamila is a Leipzig-based independent artist who draws character portraits and tarot cards. She enjoys surreal and dreamlike imagery with a fragile and delicate quality to it. Her primary goal is to evoke a sense of wonder in the viewer and her drawing style is heavily influenced by both nature and Japanese animation. She mainly works digitally, but also has an ongoing series of small traditional drawings. Her work has been published by Dragonsteel Entertainment and in Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art, among others. Currently, Djamila is not looking for freelance work.
