Singer-songwriter Mayngo infuses R&B and sassy hooks into head bopping feel good songs.
Mayngo’s upcoming single, Real Love, shows her continued growth and adaption to a new era
of music with a spicy flare.
Born in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba but raised in Jacksonville, FL, Mayngo discovered
talents of writing and singing at a young age and started putting her skills to work
when she got older. Influences are Mariah Carey, Jasmine Sullivan, Marvin Gaye,
James Brown, Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, Ashanti, Mya, and more. Mayngo is also an
actress; studying drama at 12 years old and being cast in a Warner’s Brother
television series called Safe Harbor. Later in her life, she was also cast to play the
leading female role in Homeboys Film and Homeboys: Meet The Crew, music videos,
and a cast member in the Broadway musical DreamGirls.

After releasing her latest single, Heartbreaker,
Mayngo connected with some of the top industry’s recording moguls.
Manager of B.o.B & Trap Beckham, TJ Chapman spoke highly for the success of
Heartbreaker. “That thang is jamming. It’s ‘an awesome hook, it’s very relatable
especially for the ladies, but it goes both ways too.” Although the Duval raised artist
has an outline of success, the single comes from a personal place. “I want to make
music I heard growing up that felt good and got me through some tough times.”
The single, in which Antuan Wright, CEO of Apex Coture Magazine and Supervisor of
Fleet DJ’s declared the artist to be a star with drive.
Mayngo’s passion, drive and continued growth set the standard for other artists to
