With the release of Basic Being Basic, we finally have new music from Joe Keery aka Djo, and we thought it would be fun to revisit this Hawkins Community Pool bonus episode that was recorded on July 26 and originally posted here on July 29, 2024. In this episode we are joined by Kelly @djokeerydaily, who was our first ever guest on the podcast on our 'end of beginning' episode, right before the viral success of the song of the same name. Kelly returned to break down the Djo social media drama with "Corey," right when the End of Beginning remixes dropped. We also discussed our theories about the imminent new album (which is now confirmed), and celebrated the recent success of Joe Keery with his music as well as acting projects like Fargo, Marmalade, and Pavements. If our theories got a little bit delusional... it's all in good fun! We’ve literally never laughed more on a podcast episode.
