New Recruit:
Larry Fielding, a newspaper reporter, gets fired from his job, apparently for no reason. Things go from bad to worse, but in the end he makes a new acquaintance who tries to recruit him for an assignment. It looks like a good thing — the silver lining around his dark cloud.
