Making a Scene Presents an Interview with D'Lakes

d'Lakes has a new album and it's amazing! It has a specular title too "HEAVEN IS A SILENT DISCO." I can't wait for you to hear it! I really appreciate all the chances and direction that Drew and his band took on this album. It's bright, punchy, colorful and oh so memorable! I find myself singing his songs long after they are over. Their second track Laughing as A Symbol (Note Passing) is one of my absolute favorites! Their first track Dare To Be Bogus is sassy and I love it! Track 3 Not So So-So Anymore is just as fabulous! Drew takes an honest approach in his lyrics and doesn't hold back. That is something I can get behind! I could hear these songs in a movie soundtrack for a coming of age teen drama. They are hip, spunky and driven!
