Dmitry Vostokov is the author of the Leanpub book Encyclopedia of Crash Dump Analysis Patterns: Detecting Abnormal Software Structure and Behavior in Computer Memory. In this interview, Leanpub co-founder Len Epp talks with Dmitry about his background and his multifaceted career, about his first experiences with computers and programming in the Soviet Union, studying and working during the country's transition to democracy in the early 1990s, moving to Ireland, his book, and at the end, they talk a little bit about his experience as a self-published author.
