Child actors are delightful. Think of the Olsen Twins on Full House, Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone, and Haley Joel Osment in that M. Night Shyamalan movie before we realized he was terrible. The problem is that pushing these kids into the spotlight at a young age can reek havoc on them as adults. Add in the fact that a number of the parents will see the kid as a cash register/indentured servant and you have a recipe for trouble.
