Have you ever wished that God would just answer your prayers with a direct message? On the surface, it would seem like that would make following him a whole lot easier. There are several instances in Scripture when God spoke directly to someone, or sent a messenger from heaven to relay his message to them. While these direct messages had a huge impact on their faith, I’m not sure they were any easier to process or obediently follow.
