I sat today with the news DMX died... I put on Spotify and this was his first song to play. I hadn’t heard these words he spoke in decades and now at 35 the mean something different. The story he told here, it’s real, it’s heavy, it’s the world we’ve created.  DMX had a soul that was being tortured as far back as he can remember, he had the eyes of the world on him at one point in time and that still didn’t fill the whole left by mom and dad not wanting him. God rest DMX’s soul, I pray he has finally found his peace in God’s grace.
