The circumcision of the heart which involves God taking away the heart of stone and giving you a heart of flesh is the sign of the New Covenant ratified by the blood of Jesus.  As a result of this inward circumcision, God promises to put His law in your inward part, and write it in your heart; and through this mechanism, He will be your God, and you will be his people.
