In the past month my Facebook page has had over 1.3 MILLION post reach in spite of the fact that it has only about 4,600 followers.  But does this actually mean anything in the grand scheme of things?  

In my opinion, not really. My only goal is revenue (after providing tremendous value of course). So, then, why does everybody else seem to make such a big deal about the fact that reach, engagement and views matter so much?  What's the point of crowing about your "impressive numbers" if those numbers aren't turning into dollars and cents?
