On today's episode of the Simply Straight Talk show Reggie is discussing how men may feel regarding the increasing number of masculine women vs feminine women.

Men and women are working to understand the changes that are occurring in modern day relationships. Some women have begun to assume a more masculine status in relationships and the work environment. While some men have accepted this change in roles others may not feel comfortable about the change. Masculinity has commonly been associated with men as way of expressing strength and vigor, Feminine traits were always associated with women such as ladylike, pretty and womanly.

Over the years, some women have decided to take the more masculine approach and rejecting the feminine ways previously associated with women. This mindset may have developed for several reasons, for instance the feminist movement, men relinquishing their masculinity, or women feeling oppressed by the male society. I am sure there are numerous other reasons for this transition, but we must ask ourselves can two masculine people coexist in a relationship without constant conflict.

Today, some women are offended by the word feminine. To them this is an extreme insult and labeling them as weak and helpless. On the other hand, men don’t identify feminine as being weak when it comes to women. It’s a compliment and winning trait for women all over the world.
