Satan is a deceiver from the beginning on. He wants to destroy our trust in God. He wants to deceive us about the goodness of God. Like in the garden Eden, so he does today. And that has fatal consequences if we don't pay any attention.

God is good. What He gives is good. If it's not good, He won't give it to us.

"Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
