Elisha asked God to open the eyes of his servant that he may see who was on his side. Both Elisha and his servant saw through different lenses. Elisha saw with eyes of faith and his servant saw through eyes of fear. It does matter how we see our difficulties. God is wanting us to see that he is on our side and that the focus on our lives should be the greatness of God not the greatness of our difficulties. (2 Kings 6)
