When you’re in a small group, or talking
with a non-believer in class, or see your brother/sister in Christ stumbling in sin, ask yourself: What can I say or do to be helpful in bringing a wandering sheep back? Is this going to put a heavier burden on them?
If you feel judged and maybe offended when
someone brings this kind of thing up to you, ask yourself: Is the content of what they’re saying bothering me, or is it the way they’re saying it? And hopefully: Do they have a point?
Do I need to reevaluate something? Have I been
deceived by the world or religious self-righteousness? God, what do you long for me to hear from this?
