Does unbelief cause someone to spend eternity in Hell? Or is it that we are justly condemned for our sin? The moment sin entered the world, God launched a plan of salvation to bring us back to Himself. It's the sin the keeps us from Him. Not believing in Jesus is just a way of rejecting the only solution we have to be with God forever.
