This week we had a disagreement while watching Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing". We decided, rather than discuss it off the mic, why not just talk it out on air and record our difference of opinion. The conversation took us from the movie to the #TakeEmDownNOLA movement. Although, I think we both agreed on the principal of organizing and accomplishing a goal, we had different takes on what the effects of the statues coming down may (or may not) mean for the future of New Orleans and, on a broader scale, this country.
