God wants us to remember His good works, because He knows what happens when we don't. When we forget what the Lord has done for us, we focus too much on our circumstances. When we forget the work of God, we try to solve our problems in our own way. And when we forget His principles for life, we live as we please without regard for others. This is the foundation of the memorial service that is communion.
