The idea that we live in a matrix has always been a popular belief in western and eastern philosophy.  From the box office hit the matrix in 1999 massively helped push the idea what we might already be living in a simulated reality. We touch on Plato's cave theory and other strange phenomenon's like the butterfly affect which could be all supporting factors that suggest we are in a matrix.
