What happens when you find out your son is doing drugs? Or you discover your daughter is sexually active?

I truly hope you never have to deal with a teen caught up with drugs, alcohol or promiscuity in your home. But let me urge you to premeditate your response, in the event your child begins to make poor choices.

Think through the consequences for these dangerous behaviors. And make sure the consequences you set are enforceable, you’re gonna have to do what you say!

If breaking the rules means losing the car, then take away the keys. If making poor choices means they’ll have to see a counselor, then book the appointment.

Be sure to set your consequences fairly, then follow through when rules are broken!
