Do you believe in the finished works of Jesus Christ? And what does that mean?  Did Jesus finish the job or not? What did he do, exactly? Redemption, death of sin, death of man, death of the enemy/devil, fulfilling the Old Covenant, resurrection, ushering in the New Covenant. The tree of of knowledge of good and evil withered and died, and the tree of life was brought forth.
