Do you consider yourself a healthy person?

These questions are so funny and they feel kind of personal, but I'm happy to answer them. Do I feel like a healthy person? Yes, I'd say generally I'm a pretty healthy person. I probably have some unhealthy habits. Like most people, I love Dr Pepper. Soda Pop is not healthy, and I'm aware of it. So I try to limit the amount of Dr Pepper that I drink, but I think it's delicious.

But yes, I'd say that I am a generally healthy person. I am mindful of what I eat and I try to incorporate a lot of healthy fruits and vegetables and lean meats. I exercise regularly, and that includes strength training like resistance training with free weights and wait bands as well as a weekly and cardio. So I kind of alternate between a strength regiment and a cardio regiment on I go every weekday to the gym. I try to get outside quite a bit to help my mental health. I like to be outside. I try to be active. If I am not doing anything, I try to find a project or something to do to get myself up and moving.

I feel like I am pretty good at that. And I'm you know, I like to incorporate fitness in my children. So we're blessed to live right at the base of a beautiful mountain and right by some wonderful hiking trails and waterfalls and things like that. So I'm always having my kids pack up some water and some healthy snacks and we're going hiking and we're going to the lake, and we're just trying to keep our bodies moving and out in the fresh air.

I also think it's super important to drink a lot of water. I carry a water bottle with me. Everywhere I go, I have my kids carry water bottles with them everywhere they go to stay hydrated. So, yeah, I think that being a healthy person is just like some simple steps. It doesn't have to take a lot. It doesn't have to be some huge, extreme health nut workout program that you do, just simple daily things like good, healthy, clean foods, water and physical activity. And, you know, for mental or physical health for for mental health, it could be a little different. But just finding joy and things that you like I love doing projects, so I'm always keeping my mind engaged in things like that and keeping my mind engaged and my emotions engaged with people I enjoy and my body engaged with physical activity and healthy nutrition.

And so, yeah, I'd say I'm a pretty healthy person, I guess.
