What Idols Am I Clinging To?

Perhaps the most important part of Jonah's development was recognizing the idols in his life. Jonah 2:8 says, "Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God's love for them."

We often think we can hold onto our idols while still maintaining our relationship with God, but this creates a divided heart. Jesus was extreme when it came to dealing with our own sin - He said if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off.
