Do you know what you want? Are you asking for it?

Listen Later

Three questions for you in this week’s podcast: Are you being a martyr? Are you clear on what you want and are you asking for it?

When I’m walking my dog I talk to the app Otter on my phone, it’s how I get the ideas that other people seem to have in the shower.

As I’m renovating a cottage in darkest (well in January anyway) Normandy, my shower is not that space, but on the go, Otter definitely is!

We’re going to cover:

- The idea of resentment building because we’re not asking for what we want

- Training others not to help us or ‘gatekeeping’

- How to use the technique of ‘future tripping’ to interrupt your patterns of not allowing help.

📌Action step this week:

Ask yourself if you being clear about what you want? Do you yourself know what you want? Or are you ignoring it? If you don't know what you want, how can you give yourself the space to find that out? And if you do know what you want? Are you communicating that to the right person?
