The word love has so many meanings in our culture. We love our dog. We love ice cream. We love our new shoes. We love our new car. We love Jesus. Wow, how many ways we can love and yet that word has different meanings for us when we attach it to the object of our love, right? Imagine the opportunity to live in the ancient world where you would wait with your friend the bride for her groom to come at random and pick her up and carry her off to their new house in the middle of the night! And if you waited with her and he showed up, you got to go with them to his house where he was throwing a big party with lots of music and plenty of rich food! Well, the Bible calls that the Wedding supper of the Lamb and its in the book of Revelation, chapter 19. But Jesus mentions it in Matthew 25 when He shares a story which is commonly referred to as the "the Parable of the 10 Virgins"--and only 5 out of 10 actually made it to the Wedding supper because they truly LOVED his appearing...listen to find out more!
