Do you always need a change management strategy?

My take on this topic is one that perhaps not everyone will agree with because in my books, the answer is no! In this episode, I talk about what a change management strategy is, when you need one and why it’s not always relevant to every project or initiative. 

I talk about having ONE overarching change management strategy for big, bold moves that cover long term, significant goals and placing aligned action plans under this umbrella. I also discuss the importance of appropriately diagnosing the business problem that your change initiative is going to overcome and share a simple exercise to help you do this.

Your change management strategy is your vision for the future, the compass for all the change efforts to come.  I share a few of the most important elements that I recommend you include in any change management strategy to help bring it to life across your entire change effort.
