We often find ourselves preoccupied with the politics of our nation because we are convinced that if our guy gets in, we will receive special benefits or things will be set right. Jesus came to announce that God's kingdom was available to those who were disenchanted with or marginalized by the governments of this world. Allegiance to God's kingdom comes with favored status while His king (Jesus) set things right.
