A report looking into net zero has found that the cost is much higher than previously thought, suggesting it could require spending more than £3-4 trillion over the next 25 years. Further studies suggest that figure could be over £9 trillion when you include the carbon costs of emissions.

Energy Analyst, Jess Ralston, helps break down what net zero actually is and explains out why the costs could be this high. Petrie then asks Director of Net Zero Watch, Andrew Montford, if the final goal is realistic or even achievable.
