In a world where everyone posts everything about their lives, we may often find ourselves longing for big "post worthy" moments in life. Exciting moments in life. However, there is something that God is leading us to that is not "front page news" worthy. It's obedience. It's living a life of submission to His will, even when no one is looking. In today’s episode we are going to discuss these very things. Obeying God in private, especially in the mundane. We will also discuss the difference between obedience and submission. These words often get used interchangeably a lot, but they actually mean two different things. We can often obey something with an attitude, however when we submit we are willingly yielding to a higher power or authority. This has everything to do with our heart motivation and attitude.
This process of surrendering our will to God’s will is true submission. Ultimately, we are submitting ourselves to God’s ways so that the Holy Spirit can work in us and conform us into the image of Christ. In fact, Jesus of course is our perfect example of this. So, grab a cup of coffee and join Jackie and Heather today around this conversation.
