In John chapter 5, Jesus comes across a man who had been an invalid for 38 years prompting the question, "Do you want to get well?"
So many of us have been stuck with the same problems, fears, sicknesses, sorrows -- for years, and we are Christians. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is alive inside of us, and yet we still choose to remain sick. When Jesus died on the cross for us 2,000 years ago, He healed us. However, if we don't want to accept that, we will remain sick. I think it's time we ask ourselves... "do I want to be healed?" The answer should be "yes".
