What were the biggest issues keeping people back from becoming an author?

1. Money
2. Time
3. The process is confusing
4. I don’t know how to organize my content
5. I’m not sure I have enough worthwhile content 
6. Would someone want to read it?
7. I afraid people will judge m

These are all exactly the same issues I had, but I have now written multiple books. So what allowed me to get over the hurdles and become one of the 2%? I think it might be the same response many new authors have…I wanted it more than I didn’t!
