Yes, the 30th night of September is right now as I type this.

September was a busy month for me. I experienced some burn out very early in month and opted to prioritise rest and ease moving forward. Add that to life and a non-existent writing practice and you get a whole month passing without publishing.

II’d be lying if I said there were not many moments when sitting at this desk or opening this page to write felt not unlike approaching the Demogorgon. But writing is the only way to slay the dragon. I finally pulled my sword out a few days ago.

That said, I’m excited for my October essay, titled “Cocktails In the Sun: Musings on Luxury in a Third World Country.” I’ve been thinking some of the topics I broach for sometime but kept talking myself out of writing. Nothing before its time, I supposed.

Anyway, I don’t want to make this no long ting. Just popping in to say that starting next month, you can expect consistent monthly YLT goodness in your inbox. Thank you for being here; I appreciate you.
