Good news Wednesday? Good news Wednesday almost had to be canceled for lack of enthusiasm. Stocks started Tuesday higher but the rally was short lived. The DOW has lost over 6% the week.
I did manage to find good news. Home prices are rising, wages are rising and mortgage rates are dropping.
The attached article shows that mortgage rates are the lowest since 2016. According to the article there are 11 million homeowners who could benefit from refinancing their mortgage saving approximately $268 per month. Some quick math shows if that were to happen it would put $2.94 billion into the economy that is now going to pay house payments.
And my take on the 4.5 minutes of the debate I watched last night.
