The DOW index spent most of Tuesday above 29,000 but couldn't close there.
The attached article is an eye opener. The economic expansion is the longest in history without a recession. It will eventually will come to an end. I think it is wise to be prepared. However, it is not a reason to panic. The definition of a recession is 2 back to back quarters of declining GDP. To date GDP has remained above 2%. This quarter looks to also be above 2%, that means a recession if one is to happen, is at least 9 months out.
