Being ill or in pain for a while is a real pain. It can be hard to admit we are coping and then it may be even harder to get the right help. So, here I share some frustrations with getting help with long term or complex problems through the NHS and the slight inconvenience of being in denial about what you need help for in the first place anyway! It is okay to ask for help when you need it. You are entitled to help. You can persevere to get that help. Don't give up on you. There's only one you, look after yourself.
