Dodgers Offense Explodes, Blake Snell Dominates, Bullpen Holds On to Win Game 1
Shohei Ohtani and Teoscar Hernandez each homered twice, Tommy Edman added a homer of his own, and Blake Snell was dominant for seven innings as the Dodgers beat the Reds, 10-5, in Game 1 of the National League Wild Card Series. How did the Reds score five runs if Snell was so dominant, you ask? Well, you see, the Los Angeles bullpen was involved, so of course it wasn't as easy as we would have liked. Alex Vesia struggled, Edgardo Henriquez was terrible, and the Reds put up a fight in the eighth inning. Luckily, it was too little, too late, and the Dodgers complete the win.
