What are your rules of engagement for those who want a front row or at least main floor seating in your life? I know rules of engagement and life don’t seem to match but they have everything in common at least when it comes to your peace. We set rules of engagement at work and in business, but isn’t your life just as or even more important? Isn’t it interesting that we will safeguard all things work related but not ourselves, our spirit, and our well being?
When we buy tickets for a concert or a game there are non-negotiable categories: Front Row, Floor Seats, Mezzanine, Balcony, Waitlisted and Sold out! Those categories also apply for life and who you decide will occupy the designations.
In this episode I share the five things I assess to determine who deserves that front row in my life:
1. Those who love me unconditionally.
2. Those who do not judge me on my last act, because it makes them feel better.
3. Those who recognize it's not all about them.
4. The non-needy
5. The relationships that don't serve me
