In this episode, Jen and Crystal discuss the four types of ground Jesus mentions in scripture. These types of ground represent the condition of a person's heart. Only one of the four types of ground produced any results in a persons life. In this first episode, they will go over the first two types of ground, and next week, they will cover the other two types of ground.
Proverbs 4:23 (AMPC) - "Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flows the springs of life."
Luke 8:4-15 (TLB)
Proverbs 4:20-22 (TLB) - "Listen, son of mine, to what I say. Listen carefully. Keep these thoughts ever in mind; let them penetrate deep within your heart, for they will mean real life for you and radiant health."
John 10:10 (NKJV) - "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
Proverbs 28:14 (Message) - "A tenderhearted person lives a blessed life; a hardhearted person lives a hard life."
Ezekiel 11:19 (AMPC) - "And I will give them one heart [a new heart] and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony [unnaturally hardened] heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh [sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God]."
