βGod relentlessly warns us of the crushing weight of sin so perhaps we might reject it.β
Ezekiel 3-5, 12 by Michael Lockstampfor (@miklocks)
Through vivid and often bizarre signs, God uses the prophet Ezekiel to communicate His message to a rebellious people. We see how God creates an appetite for His word and illustrates the dire consequences of embracing our sin instead of His life. The silent signs, interpreted signs, and dramatic actions of Ezekiel serve as a stark reminder of God's impending judgment on Jerusalem. Yet, even in His warnings, we glimpse God's compassion and His desire for His people to turn back to Him. God is relentless in His warnings about the crushing weight of sin. This message challenges us to examine our own lives and the small phrases we use to dismiss God's warnings, urging us to heed His voice before it's too late.
π¬ Is our obedience to God limited by what we want to see happen?
π¬ What do we tune our ears to when it seems God isnβt speaking?
π¬ What does our life teach others about who God is? How is He getting His message across to them?
π¬ What proverbs do we use to escape from engaging with wise truth?
