Love is the scariest emotion of all because of its intensity and call for vulnerability. It beckons us to surrender and trust. It asks us to deepen our faith. It brings us closer to our truth and yet we are terrified of what will be revealed. We all want to be loved and cherished so why then do we sabotage it so easily? Why do we run from the thing we say we desire most?

The truth is love calls us higher and therefore we must go deeper. The only way to truly receive love is by BEING love. This is not an easy feat when we have spent a lifetime building walls and defenses in order to try and keep ourselves "safe."
