Ordinary Brilliance is the brainchild of Sable and Brooklynn. This is a podcast about reclaiming the brilliance of Black children as common, normal, and simply ordinary. We break down and analyze what popular ed reform policies and practices have (and have not) done for Black children. And provide you with concrete action steps you can take to start creating equitable outcomes for all Black children, today.
Together, we are going to show how to identify + disrupt the anti-Black racism manifesting in your school system. Throughout this journey, you’ll also learn how to give yourself permission to act on what you know creates access for all Black children and how to protect your capacity to do so.
