Profession without practice, words without deeds, is the death of a leader's legacy. It inverts his leadership and makes him a slave to his own ignorance. What use is sympathy without some attempt to turn it into something beautiful? Every time a leader violates his conscience, he becomes more calloused. He becomes less likely to ever take action in the future. A leader has no right to feel sympathy unless it becomes the byproduct of what He has been given through salvation. Emotion is not a luxury, it is something that must bring us to our knees in complete sacrifice to do something.
