Does The Inflation Reduction Act Bill Passed by Senate Really Reduces Inflation & Lowers Deficit?

Listen Later

The Senate recently passed a bill, dubbed the inflation reduction act aimed at reducing inflation and minimizing its effects while beefing tip the social safety net. But is this workable and how will does taxing the rich pay for this bill without passing costs onto consumers and end users which is usually the case? It then puts us back at square one. (How does this reduce inflation when you increase corporate tax by 15 percent & close loopholes, & then give the IRS 124 billion dollars when needy families could’ve gotten that money? This will ultimately create a 15 % increase in costs because corporations will pass this tax on.) We discuss this in this episode of the podcast. We also explore other economic news concerning the us econikic outlooo and our growth by a report from one of our contributors Sheldon McKenzie, a Banker and analyst at US Bank. He talks about the feds recent increasing the interest rates and his fears about the us markets. We present his fears and comments about the us economy and markets in this episode. Tomorrow we will do street vibe talking about what’s wrong with Philadelphia as we interview two individuals about what’s happening in Philadelphia and in US cities.
