Donald Trump’s first week in office has been full of many moves, some more controversial than others. One action that has set the internet on fire and cable TV talking heads a buzz has been a move to gut federal DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs. Yet, the federal government is far from the only place where we are seeing this move. Many corporations have also announced the end of their DEI initiatives, namely since Donald Trump’s re-election last November. This begs the question - is culture downstream from politics, or is Trump’s election the result of a nation being fed up with radical leftist policies.
