Utah teachers are bristling after an email was sent from the district reminding them that if they're stressed out at work, they can't take a "Mental Health Day.” Or at least they can't use the "Mental Health Day" excuse to use up one of their sick days. We've made a ton of progress in the area of mental health at the workplace... but sometimes it feels like we're finding all the excuses not to go to work. Between sick days, vacation days, mental health days, company holidays, state and federal holidays, observed cultural days... At some point if I'm the employer I'd be asking myself... Do any of my employees actually work here? Dave and Debbie discuss and take listener calls.
